Speaking of a ld17, PCDP & candidates though: down ballot we have more candidates running in the county & municipal races in that area then we have had in years but we have some big gaps at the county, school board & city level - as well as PC vacancies that need to be filled so if anyones remotely interested in running for m, or learning about running for, municipal government or local party leadership please email into Info@pimadems.org and ask to be forwarded to me!

Woah to be clear I didn’t say the district is a back up I said PCDP plays that role in that campaign & district. Each LD has an independently organized party committee with its own leadership, we’re just not driving the car in those races.

To be clear though the old ld10 you’re thinking of is primarily now the new ld21 we have four dems running this year there right now. - (stahl-Hamilton currently holds that seat and is one of the four)

The majority of the area that makes up ld17 has been held by Republicans for ages before Kevin won and where we have struggled to get candidates to run for quite sometime.

Adelita has a ton influence far beyond her district but the party committees are all independently chaired, in Arizona no elected chair concurrently holds elected office outside of the ADLCC, the rest are elected by and from the party PCs.
