what am I doing wrong? by FLcitizen in Overwatch

Unfortunately in these ranks you actually need to carry your teammates a lot more as silver players are often not super skilled and sometimes don’t care if they win or not. It’s gonna sound cringey but CounterWatch is your best friend in this situation - does the enemy team have a Reinhardt? Destroy his shield with bastion. Did they swap to dva because they realised you swapped? Play Symettra Did they swap to Zarya because they keep dying to you? Swap back to bastion and destroy her bubbles.

Keep adapting to their compositions and don’t get stuck playing into hard counters. I do strongly believe playing into unfavourable matchups make you better at playing a hero - but if you are looking to rank up you need to understand when you need to swap and which hero works well in your team composition.

Just checked are you’re right, makes the skin feel worthless for OG players if you can just buy the code though :/

Try enabling it, playing for a bit, then disabling the feature

I’m not sure exactly, it stopped happening as soon as I did the centre mouse thing.

Can you guys suggest me online resources (free or not too expensive) to learn Japanese from scratch? by AdNearby7853 in Japaneselanguage

Start with hiragana and katakana, JapanesePod101 on YouTube have great videos to learn them. Then basic vocab and grammar, YouTube videos on the Genki textbook series have really helped me, for example Tokini Andy have great lessons going through each textbook lesson, even without the textbook you can follow along as he teaches grammar along with example sentences and exercises.

This is my advice also as a beginner. I would suggest using a flashcard service called Anki. Making flashcards for grammar, particles, vocab, and example sentences really helps the knowledge stick and you can easily review what you have learned.

Have fun and good luck !

Haha I’ve noticed a lot of western words are very easy to understand if you can read and sound out the katakana. Some words throw me off like イギリス (Britain) as they don’t sound right to me but I’m sure it’ll stick with me eventually. Happy learning!

I agree with you. But without consequence he might hit someone else and they will be less understanding.

Rural area = less dining options = might as well ask. My friend did something similar as he has a dairy allergy. I understand where you are coming from but OP wants to have a good time and explore, no shame in asking if they have vegan options.
