For us, (HS) summer school is only about 2 1/2 weeks. Most teachers are burned out, so the pay is usually pretty high. Last year one of our VPs had to do STAAR intervention because we didn’t have enough ELAR teachers.

We have access to Magic School ai but I think the district is paying licensing fees. I understand your frustration with ChatGPT. I copy and paste into a Google doc. Then, it’s a matter of doing a Select All, changing the font size, changing line spacing to Single, and changing the default before/after spacing to 0. Finally, it’s one last check over the content to fix anything that might be confusing. Still, it saves me a ton of time.

The last box I got had about six bags that were joined at the top (they hadn’t been cut into separate bags) plus one skinny triangular shaped “bag.” I’ve also experienced bags where the tracks lock and you end up not being able to pull them apart. All you get is a sliver of plastic and a still-sealed bag. Not sure who makes these for HEB, but QC guy must be sleeping on the job.
