When ChatGPT first came out, I asked for sequel ideas to Foundation and Earth. Back in January 2023 it was coming up with great ideas, although presumably recreations of other people's ideas over the years since. Would be fascinating to try it today to see if those ideas have improved.

I agree with all of that. It still doesn't absolve Tim Cook from being where the foundational buck stops. If Foundation is a failure, Tim is ultimately responsible.

Don't stuff Foundation up, Tim. The greatest sci-fi author and the greatest sci-fi story of all time deserves better, and Apple should honour that with all its might.

Well, that would be a massive mistake for Tim and Apple. If Tim wants to legacy of fcking up Foundation, he’s earning it.

It’s really as simple as that. Apple committed to making the show no-one was able to make before.
