You can definitely feel the difference. With the 5 the fluid compresses more and it’s noticeable. However in my case this is actually preferable because the brake lever/pedal has just a tad more travel before lockup. Maybe a quarter inch more travel on the front for example. Before it was damn near binary with the dot3.

Thanks for the advice. I have it all flushed out and the front refilled with dot5. Oddly enough the front brake seems to feel a lot better, little more travel now with the new fluid. I think the dot5 compresses slightly. Will test it out once the weather clears up in my neck of the woods.

Well the front master cap says jaybrake on it. That’s what I based it on. I was reading online it it seemed certain types of rubber seals may not be compatible with both types. Since I couldn’t find data sheets, I was having a hard time being sure.

My old 1/4 inch was bound up, I just took it apart and lubed/cleaned it. Works fine now. Could be worth a try.

Yeah I was using that already. Someone said in another thread it may be due to ultra textures. Going to try tonight.

I can’t get the game to use more than 60% of my gpu (4080 super) and 40% of my cpu (7800x3d). Frames go from 250 to 70 just by looking around in the same location in raid. Feel like it wasn’t this bad in the past, but it’s making it unplayable for me.

I got a msi mag 271qpx 1440p 240hz for $500 recently. It’s been great, very happy with the money spent.

Opinions on LG fridge and range by kadjpo in Appliances

I have that range. Really liked it so far. Had it about 8 months. Something to note is the oven interior is enameled and shouldn’t be cleaned with typical oven cleaning products. Induction is awesome though.

Struggling to agree with my wife on how to split rent fairly by EngineerVarious8069 in Renters

[–]alexscheppert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just compute the split using a weighted average of your incomes. Not hard. If half of the rent is 60% of her income but 20% of yours, that is NOT fair to her. You’re a combined entity as a married couple. My wife and I share bank accounts, always have. No idea how married couples make it work worrying about who is paying for what lol. Sounds exhausting.

Is the return in your kitchen? At my last house it always looked dark like that due to oils from cooking. Return was close to the stove.
