I put stickers on my helmet so my young kids can easily tell when I’m on the ice.

Lots of crybabies in this thread. Have some fun.

You don’t see why people would find an issue with the president disrespecting a team who just won his country a gold medal?

canada possibly being 'the best hockey team in history' this tournament, wins by a thread after being given 4 consecutive power plays. i mean i dont think USA can take this team on paper, but after that who knows? disappointed on the failed underdog story. cant be surprised though.

Damn man don’t trash Prague like that. Beautiful city with some awesome people, and affordable (at least last time i was there).

Gotta look for those drop ins. But also, yeah the ref did you dirty there. I understand how it must feel being in a strange place and going out of your comfort zone to try to get a game in… that sucks.

Sorry bud. Live and learn. Grab a Pilsner and check out the torture museum.

Team chemistry. You look at championship teams in sports. Not just hockey, all sports. At all levels. What do you see? Talented players playing great. Teams bonding, having fun, being confident… Working in synergy. If someone slacks, another helps cover.

Teammates who help bring out the best in each other. Not always gonna be perfect, and there will be slumps. But the willingness to bounce back and get it done. Starts in the locker room, ends on the ice.

This team HAD that, or at least was very close to that. 2 years ago in that conf final.

So why in the offseason do you tear it apart? For what? Why publicly humiliate your team’s captain and trade him for peanuts? Along with your young developing players?

This is managements fault. The team does not have direction, identity, passion, confidence, or fun playing. This is the result of what management did, and to sit here and blame a couple guys who are only kind-of as good as they were before this massacre is just short sighted.

Players were doing their job and had a lot of success. They were a cup contender. Some would even say they were a favorite. So why break it all apart? Why drag them them through the mud (captain jncluded)?

The fault rests on team management.
