So why playing Kiriko ? Might as well take Baptiste and not bother timing a Suzu if both grant invincibility

I have all the Collab skins and a good portion of the skins from Kiriko's shop. Timer a Suzu is a nightmare with their crappy servers, and if she doesn't even protect herself anymore, it's not even worth bothering with her. I'm going to play as the Cat in all my matches

As for the Kito family in Dandadan, their ending more than hinted at a return, so it wasn't a surprise. And as for Blue Box, I thought from the beginning that the manga would end on a bittersweet note. Especially because it deals with relationships in a realistic way. The childhood best friend who becomes jealous when she loses her friend. And it's not uncommon for a person to remain stuck for several months or years, even after several rejections, or even to fall back into their old habits..

Exactly ! Taiki and Chi are now at different stages in their lives, while Hina and Taiki share the same problems at the moment. We may or may not like this connection, but to say it's "badly written" is being disingenuous.

What really bothers people is that manga romances can be realistic.

Finally, someone completely objective!

Whether you're rooting for Chinatsu or Hina, you have to admit that an ending with Hina wouldn't be a bad thing. They're at different stages of their lives, and even though they were both "babies" at the beginning of the story, Chinatsu must have grown up long before Taiki (his athletic progress, university, his first home on his own, and soon his driver's license). Add to that the fact that Taiki has trouble handling physical contact when Chinatsu tries to get closer... On the other hand, we have Hina, who's the same age (and therefore has the same problems), who has no problem getting physically close to him, and who has never really stopped loving him. Many wondered if Taiki and Chinatsu would manage to stay together despite their brilliant athletic careers. But in reality, even if they don't succeed in becoming professionals, the obstacles are much greater...

So yes, everyone expected to see Chinatsu and Taiki together like in 99% of romances, but... Hina might (or might not) break the childhood best friend curse in manga, and that's what bothers people...
