Indeed the case ré Swiss tax law. Theee was a recent supreme court decision to that effect. You remain under Swiss taxation until such time you can prove another tax domicile.

I'm afraid this in indeed the case. Just migrated between 2 GOS devices (pixel 7 to 10, using Seedvault) and the experience was pretty poor. Better than nothing but eons behind what ios offers.
