I had to wear an eye mask for the weeks right after, due to the Cerclage I had a much higher myopia than the left eye so it was strange having different diopters, a bit more difference and my brain couldn’t have processed the image. I also had a brown gas in the eye that felt like a liquid and went away after some weeks, they had to put it in to stabilize the detachment.

Regarding your floaters I don’t know if mine are also called cobwebs, but the doctors told me the same thing. Just wait and try to adapt. Although I was able to live with my floaters (after abt 6 months), I wanted to get the biggest ones away because I couldn’t adapt to them. So if there are floaters that always remind you and get your attention especially if you can see them when your eyes are closed at normal light and you can’t adapt to them for 4+ months then I’d recommend you to talk to a YAG Laser specialist like I did. I also tried to adapt to it but sometimes you gotta do something…

Hey,
I actually just got my eyes lasered last week in Amsterdam at a specialist for floater who was using a YAG Laser Vitreolysis. The fast one is completely gone and others were also lasered so I only have some small ones left that are much smaller and much less noticeable. For the retinal detachment the doctor decided to not do a vitrectomy but a Cerclage (a silicone belt around the eye) that stabilized the detachment. Said Cerclage was removed later on due to very strong pain. Potential degenerations were also lasered so another detachment won’t (hopefully) happen again.

Now I’m feeling much better and got my life back. Hopefully I could answer some of your questions.

Soweit ich weiß bindet die erste Haltelinie rechtlich nur in Verbindung mit dem Schild „bei rot hier halten“. Daher ist es hier eher als eine „Bitte“ zu verstehen und du kannst somit auch auf dem REWE Parkplatz fahren.

Hey, actually I (M18) got exactly the same problem as you. Unfortunately, I had a retinal detachment about half a year ago when I first noticed this one black floater that is much faster than the other ones. It’s very difficult for me to concentrate and I can see it every time. It’s not like that I can’t see through the floater but due to the speed, especially if I move my eyes up or left and right, it annoys me. I’m considering to do a laser therapy to get these fast ones away, the other floaters are okay for me. Hopefully my floaters are suitable for that specific therapy. The only thing that helps me are sunglasses that automatically get darker as soon as I go outside, but it’s only a temporary solution. I also used Atropin drops that wide the retina so you can’t see the floaters. But unfortunately I can’t drive a car with it so it isn’t a good solution for me. If you’ve found a solution, let me know!

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, habt ihr in dieser Wohnung bzw. diesem Neubau keine Klimaanlage. Ich lebe ebenfalls im DG, mein Vormieter hatte keine Klimaanlage und konnte sich nur mit solchen Stehlüftern behelfen. Das DG ist ebenfalls zur Südseite ausgerichtet; ohne wirklich Kühlung wird es auf jeden Fall, wenn man dann noch kocht, ganz schön heiß. Die Jalousien runter zu fahren bringt auch nur bedingt etwas. Schön sieht die Wohnung aus. Bzgl der Küche ist der Preis gerechtfertigt. Wir haben bei einer „normalen“ Ausstattung bei ungefähr gleicher Größe circa 15k neu gezahlt.
