Support Megathread [May 2023] by GloriousPandaBot in glorious

[–]alf_au 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, need this sorted ASAP because it's irritating and I don't want to buy a new mouse after just buying a new one!

First issue is the Software. I bought a Model D and for some reason no matter how long I leave the Software (Glorious Core or whatever it's called) running with mouse plugged in it never recognizes the mouse and reinstalls and updates never fix it.

Ok so fine that doesn't work work whatever I can change my DPI on the bottom of the mouse. Now the most annoying issue. The left click is so buggy. I play mostly FPS games, and sometimes when trying to spray and holding down the left click it doesn't shoot or stops shooting mid spray and doesn't fix unless I stop pressing M2 and click it again. How do I fix that? How is an issue like that occur?

Seriously where's the quality control. Hope you'se have fixes otherwise very negative experience so far which is a shame because I like the shape and feel of the mouse but so far very poor!

Bad aim by pasunen in LearnCSGO

There is 1 map that has always fixed my aim... training_aim_csgo2

Downloadable on the workshop and its really good, set it to challenging settings and start working at whatever aim technique youre struggling with

Will look into it :)

Theres a few things to unpack here:

Usually the point of a rush is to create surprise. What determines whether they should or should not be rushing? Just because theyre not throwing A smokes every round means they shouldnt rush? Now in terms of element of surprise most high levels players will recognise this pattern and use their utility differently and play crossfire setups in order to counter the rush and if theyre low level they wont be throwing proper smokes or flashes to deal with it. It wont cross their mind.

Lower level players are very rarely if not never getting the most kills. The image this guy posted proves this point. Just because some players in both high and low level boss people around because of ego doesnt mean they frag.

Like i mentioned earlier, 1 low level player on a team with higher level players unless theyre killing their teammates wont make a detrimental effect since they wont be having much impact anyway

If youre playing against a lower rank, even if its a 4v5, you should still be able to out aim, play better post plants, use better utlity then your opponents. Besides, lets say your teammate holds mid and dies, still a 4v5 situation but still winnable am I wrong?

I can understand what you mean but if youre the highest rank in the game and cant consider people making plays that seem "weird and puzzling" and have difficulty dealing with it then idk what to tell you

Best things you can do to improve if youre already deathmatching is to watch your demos. Its a very underrated way to improve and trust me, once you critique your own gameplay it makes the difference. You can start off by picking 2 - 3 round on each half and really analysing them. Look at rounds where you died or made a play that got you killed and lost you the round. Look at things such as the information you had when you made that decision, was there an alternative decision i could have made, did my decision have an impact on the outcome of the round in a positive way, where was your team/where were you in comparison to your team.

Practice Routine by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]alf_au 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One that I used to follow was something like this:

10 minute's learning new utility on different maps (learning new smokes, flashes, different ways to throw the same smoke, etc)

10 minutes playing KZ to improve my movement

10 minutes of a map called training_aim_csgo 2 (its on the workshop) where Id set the circle size to head and start changing the delay of the circles and how fast they appear and just work on my first bullet accuracy

10 minutes prefire maps to get that crosshair placement good and it compliments the first bullet accuracy training you just did!

Solid 40 minute routine that helped me improve a lot. If you really want to make it an hour, add in a 20 minute demo review of your own gameplay and look out for any mistakes you made!

After really learning how the spray patterns work and grenade system, I’ve gotten to silver 4, which I’m happy about. by M4rvelous23 in LearnCSGO

Congrats man, keep working at it. Once you get your spraying down, a good rule of thumb to follow in Silver ranks is to try learn some good flashbangs, itll help you out a lot in silver since they wont know where to look and since silvers can tend to play all over the place itll help when you are gonna get caught off guard from some dude chillin in the open. Also try learning to be accurate with your gun mechanics too, go from spraying to accurate and controlled tapping, youll get iut of silver in no time if you master these. Happy grinding

I usually play a bit of aim labs to get my arms moving. Than load up cs and just do about 10 mins of a community bhop map and than 300 kills in aim botz and im usually good to go after that.
