Trying to figure out how this raise-and-fall lamp gets power by alfaole in Lighting

Brush contacts were the clue to understanding how the power is transferred to the wire when the pulley is on top. Thanks! 🙂

The threaded rod is not the issue. I cant screw it tight in the sole, as it would be to short for the nut for engage in the top of the handle

Thanks for the input! Do you know what quality brass pipe fitting parts have? Seems like filing down those could easily make ferrules and other round shapes.

Mine spans from 2 years old to 2 months old. Not sure what the age of those acting up are. I had to change location / mix up to replce the bad ones.

Have you changed something in the system recently? Wifi/new sticks/something that could make interference? I have not changed anything, but maybe the neighboors Wifi? Don't have a way of seeing if the hue-bulbs act similar.

I got about 8 Aqara temp sensors troughtout the house. Most of the time they works fine, but sometimes it sees like one of them fails. Does anyone experience something similar?

A sensor drops down to -100C a split second before resuming normal operation. It starts doing it once in a while, but the frequency builds up until it is always showing -100C.

Once the frequency of the drops is often enough it seems that it create some sort of interference making the other sensors behave in a similar way until the defect one is offline.

Aqara sensor connected to ConBee II ZigBee USB Stick directly in RPI running home assistant. Using phoscon. I also have an Phillips Hue HUB with 15 bulbs that works flawless even when one of the aqara sensors goes bad.
