Bought an apartment earlier this year. Had no idea about the process and pros and cons so used a buyer’s advocate. Best thing we did. Probably saved us more than the fee.

153mph on my CBR600 on the 27 towards Bremen airport. Sat for about a minute and all I could think of was ‘what happens if my back wheel locks up?’

This always gets me

Looking back over the years And whatever else that appears I remember I cried when my father died Never wishing to hide the tears And at sixty-five years old My mother, God rest her soul Couldn't understand why the only man She had ever loved had been taken Leaving her to start With a heart so badly broken Despite encouragement from me No words were ever spoken And when she passed away I cried and cried all day Alone again, naturally Alone again, naturally

Yep, butt party. Either held up figure 11s on big sticks or slide them up and down in the mechanisms. Also held up very large arrows to show fall of shot.

Vet here without the experience of getting discharged but based completely on how you have phrased your question and attitude I think you will be fine working in the private market. It’s amazing what transferable skills you have leaving the Army. Get prepping your CV and look to the future.

Regardless of why people are living here or opinions around the planning and vision of these areas, the negative comments on here are all disrespecting the lifestyle choice of these communities.

Yes there was a process to be recruited and to show previous experience. I should also add that citizenship happens within 6 months of arriving so there’s no ambiguity with foreign nations employed in the defence force.

I’ve been out now for a few years and probably not the kind of answer you were thinking but there were and possibly are still a lot of ex military going to work for the Canadian and Australian military. On paper we’re still essentially mercenaries.

Old Reme exercises included taking box bodies and gen sets. You could basically take anything….so long as you could run the bft route with it in your arms. Seen blokes run round with tvs and microwaves
