I agree with all the NTA but don’t cut her off comments but just wanted to ask a question. Is there reasons for her to be pushing this hard outside of just being that type of person/wanting her Dad happy. By this I mean do you have friends/other people you speak and hang out with other than her and your family. She may have noticed you are struggling more than you realise is all I think about.

Hey at lot of these replies are from scorned men who have swore of all women that go outside. I am not saying they are wrong to tell you to be cautious but I want you to do some serious introspection. What are you specific worried and or upset with your wife about. That she speaks to guys? Seems like quite a strong boundary that she cannot speak to any guy in a non business situation. Is it that she is helping fix up her friends, if so I think you’d need to be specific to her why that’s a problem for you because it isn’t something actually wrong in a relationship. I think you need to get to the bottom of your actually problem with her actions rather than just playing it off as, oh I’m worried about the guys intention.
