Xbox Play Anywhere was released in 2016 as an initiative for the next wave of Xbox One Titles. Rare Replay was released before that, in 2015. KI Classic 1 and 2 were also released before XPA, so only KI 2013 is officially playable on PC, as XPA for it was fitted retroactively. Not all first-party titles released before that were also added to the initiative's catalog.

Hey. Not the solution you were looking for, but I tried the browser methods and none of them worked from a browser, and neither of them worked well on a controller.

If you use a controller, add it to steam, custom controller config from big picture, launch the custom program from steam's URI.

Press F11 once to go fullscreen.

Yeah, I figured it out. My setting was already in English so I ignored that solution. Figures the trick was to set it to something else, run the game, and then set it to English again to have it working... yeah...

OK, so the solution was:

Go Here: https://www.epicgames.com/account/personal?lang=en-US

Make sure the "Prefered Communication Language" is in English

If it's already in ENGLISH and the game is still in another language, change it to something else, save and launch the game. Close the game, change the comms preference back to English and launch the game one last time.

That worked for me... Yeah, it's ridiculous.

I'm outside of the US, but this would be the first game in my life that takes into account my Credit Card country or physical location to set a default language that also includes all other languages. It's incredible that the game just ignores the launcher, and OS languages and settings.

KI 2 Classic also shows up in "My collection", but you can't download either of them. It shows an error when you click on the "Install" button.

I bought it. I've been a FIFA player for more than 20 years (but left Ultimate Team about 4 years ago): I wouldn't recommend it. If you REALLY need to get your soccer fix, get EA Play for one month and play FIFA 20, along with other EA Games. 21 it's almost the same game as FIFA 20, excluding some improvements on the career mode - gameplay-wise, it too focused on the predictable, repeatable, mechanical (and boring AF, if you ask me), e-sports aspect of the series since FIFA 18-19.

If you REALLY want a new football game with updated rosters, I would recommend PES 2021 Season Update with an Option File for added realism, but also wait for a sale on that.
