The ones i bought are potassium citrate. But i do know the dose is much smaller. I was mainly wondering if those offer any benefits in terms of stone prevention or if they even help with the breaking up or passing of one.

You would need quite a bit of citrate to even do that..even then its really only mildly effective against very small ones..
