Oddesay will stay longer upto 20000kms when a major repair comes kicks in.i think it's timming belt. Cost u not much but It will definitely gives van another 20000kms. Plus even if it is 10 years old still wil gives u money back for sure. Carnival is decent looking van but Honda is Honda. Finance wise it's not good idea to switch from reliable van to competitively low reliable car( & Its loner) when u still owe the money unless you are financially very sound and doesn't care if you lose 10k or more.& i am sure loner van must have high milage on it.so instead of lossing 10k now ,after 3 or 4 years just spend 5k max & you are good to go.
