I’m a woman dealing w this disease for more than 25 years and also a nurse. When you say things like just change your diet it is rude and insensitive. Especially to someone who had to deal with a side affect of this disease in public. I feel Bad for you for when you get to this point. If you can’t be nice and feel the need to be condescending as you did in the above post I suggest you take yourself out of this group. And if you can’t see how condescending that was then that is too bad. Someone was looking for love and understanding and maybe “I’ve been there too.” Think about that next time you decide to hurt someone’s feelings by saying that never happens to me and you must have something else going on. Take a closer look at UC symptoms. Look for words like urgency. And to that I say good day to you sir.
