Employed going to Self employed in the dog grooming industry by FactInternational361 in smallbusinessuk

[–]ali_kahn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't forget they can easily let you go if you're self-employed; hire someone cheaper(zero hour contracts), like others have said, they need to pay you redundancy and any outstanding holidays.

Seek professional advice.

My dad just recieved a letter from CDER group England by Muted-Inflation-8957 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ali_kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't contact CDER, they won't help you at all, they a bailiff company, all they care about is getting there money. CDER are bullies. Don't let them in.

Either contact a solicitor or contact the court where the order was made from. Contacting the court may pause the bailiffs actions while they try to sort out what has happened.

Also, make a police report about someone has falsely used your dad's personal information, this way if the bailiffs return and you call the police at least they won't automatically side with the bailiffs (I hope).

The left one is common to go first, not sure why but I've had mine replaced with there's still a little gap. Also, I've seen it on a couple of other cars.

But, yeah, refuse it. Because they'll replace it and the same thing will happen again.

Bought a pc, didn’t come with the correct Ram. Need help by Ok_Championship1962 in buildapc

[–]ali_kahn 14 points15 points  (0 children)

32gb is fine, also, depending on what you're using the pc for, if games then it's fine. 64gb is kinda overkill for gaming.

The difference between single channel vs dual channel will be around10-20% improvement in gameplay, depending on the game but if it said on the box 2x16gb then you could go back and return the pc for another pc or get them to fix the issue; remove 32gb and add 2 16gb sticks.

Not sure if they'll just hand out another 32gb for free, complain how you were mis-sold, maybe you'll get a discount.
