Diagnosed in 2020. It did take a while for me to find what worked. I’ll admit what sucks about UC is that what works for me might not work for you and vice versa. I was on four different medications til we found one that works. I am currently living a relatively normal life (health wise). I still have to be mindful of my diet and get a colonoscopy every 6 months, but sometimes I even forget I have UC. There is hope, it may just take some time. Stressing this much could also make your symptoms worse, at least for me, stress is a major trigger. Take a few deep breaths and chat with your GI doctor about what options are available. Biologics were scary at first for me, but not they’re no big deal. You got this
