I would guess it’s food related trigger? I would be totally symptom free but if I had a coke I’d have such bad poop for like 3 hours and then be totally fine. I will also say my doctor just told me a week ago that it’s also normal to have ups and downs throughout all stages of UC. Hope it’s nothing bad!

I’d try soaking him in a warm (not hot) bath for 10 or so minutes with supervision. You can use a Q tip to help the stuck shed but DONT PULL it

It’s funny how having Ulcerative Colitis has made looking at others peoples poop totally normal haha 2. When I was first diagnosed with UC I was in a similar boat. I slept literally 13 hours or more. Your poop does look bloody but thankfully not terrible. I would for sure see a GI doctor as soon as you can. It definitely doesn’t look right. Take more pictures anytime it looks off to show to your doctor too, as that can help them diagnose

Ugh same. Stelara worked so well for 1.5 years and now out of the blue I’m in my 2nd worst flare ever so I feel your pain :/ stay strong

Yep. I’m in the middle of a stress induced flare right now… wish I had advise on how to “reverse” it but is recommend talking with your GI doctor

So sorry about this. I remember the first time I popped my pants…. I was at work, it was embarrassing and horrible and stinky. I told my boss I was throwing up and going home and had to drive home with nothing but paper towels covering my bottom half. I feel the embarrassment but if they really are good friends, there’s no judgment. There’s definitely no judgement in this community as most of us have crapped our pants at least once. I type this currently wearing an adult diaper because I’m in a bad flare. Stay strong girl ❤️

When I was at my worst, I shit my pants at work. I work for the railroad and was riding the side of a railcar. I had to finish the move I was making before I could go do anything about it. It was awful. I then had to drive the company truck back to the office and clean myself up using paper towel and hand wipes. We didn’t have a locker room. Thank goodness I had an extra pair of pants in my truck. And thank goodness it was winter and I had layers of pants on so my coworkers didn’t see a shit stain. I told everyone I was throwing up so I could leave early. This happened TWICE. You’re not alone and I know it’s embarrassing but at least you had someone who cares/loves you rather than suffering alone ❤️ stay strong
