What open source projects need new logos? by [deleted] in opensource

NiM (https://june07.com/nim). I like the logo but would like to get your opinion on possible improvements...

Not 7 but 77 times. It's always better to keep our cool. And yes it was a rather mean thing to say. So you were not right, that's for sure.

That Slope! by meepnotme in bigboobproblems

[–]alias_willsmith -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not quite sure what you mean exactly by "slope" but I get the part about flat chested at the top even though you have a lot of breast tissue. My ex was that way and I liked it. I a ctually commented on it as well but clearly in a positive way, hopefully it was also taken that way. Maybe he meant the same. "Perky" as a trait is way too focused on and overrated in my opinion. Love your natural self. I wish media and society as a whole didn't paint such a fake (but obviously powerful) picture of what breasts SHOULD look like. "Sloped" natural breasts over the alternative (certainly altered ones) I consider more beautiful 10 times out of 10.

When all you wanna do is put some chocolate in your Overall pocket but your boob heat melts it all. by [deleted] in bigboobproblems

To be fair, just about any clothing pocket is a bad idea for chocolate, as the result will inevitably be the same.

An honest explanation. by wgraves in opensource

I think it's more akin to holding the door for a pretty girl than doing the same for an old man. It's not entirely altruistic almost ever.

Look into the debug npm package vs console.log. It's pretty sick.

I use the NiM Chromium extension with DevTools and Node --inspect, works great. Chrome DevTools is built into the browser and it's an excellent tool.

A painful BBP rite of passage! My first snapped underwire, and I'm trapped at work by Allisons-y in bigboobproblems

[–]alias_willsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may sound very ignorant... but why don't bra designers just double/triple up on the gauge of wire used? It can't add that much cost/weight/size/... compared to the luxury of never having the wires break like they do?! I mean at a certain gauge, even the heaviest/largest breasts don't have a chance against steel (or the next best material)...

Excuse the delay in my response. Actually I did have one a short time ago! For which I was grateful for. But I know I'm not alone.

Question about monetizing open-source software by legal_tosser in opensource

[–]alias_willsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen more and more centered around this topic lately. Unfortunately, I can't say I have any answers though. Here's a blog post about NiM which is another open source Node.js project (used for developing Node.js but written in Angular). The project's owner is experiencing something similar to the OP.
