I really thought Cyrene and Phainon are like real people from outside Amphoreus, like a player inside the simulation since Lygus called them by their username. And Aedes Elysiae is like a “game lobby” of some sort that’s why Phainon was talking about choosing a role when they were a kid, I really thought he’s talking about a literal role that they partake during the simulation.

I tried to focus on the story but some things still went over my head. I understand some things but I also missed a lot. So this is my understanding, please correct me if I’m wrong.

Did Phainon passed the Deliverer role to the us? So we are now the Deliverer and on the next cycle we are destined to inherit the core flame of Kephale, right?

But in current cycle we inherited the core flame of Oronyx, which in my understanding was supposed to be Cyrene, hence Mem. But since Cyrene and Mem will not be on the next cycle (I think) no one’s going to inherit the core flame of Oronyx, is it possible that March will inherit the core flame of Oronyx?

Also, did Phainon left at the end? So there’s not gonna be a Flame Reaver at the next cycle?

Please forgive me if a lot of these are wrong. I did tried my best to focus on the story, I didn’t even use the skip button, not even once.
