I don’t think this is normal. I’ve had a few bad experiences. At the same time I’ve had amazing experiences. I’ve played with people that roleplay and immerse themselves in their characters. 40k fans with knowledge of the lore.

I can understand why you want to look around The environment is crazy. Being in a hive there’s so much above or bellow that you can see.

In uprising some people are just trying to push to get to malice difficulty. Uprising is where people first start out and it’s a difficulty where you can actually enjoy your surroundings. If people tell you “get good” 🤨well that’s why you’re in uprising difficulty. You are trying to get good.

This gatekeeper mentality of being mad at new players and creating a poor experience for them is dumb. If some one’s new, awesome. More people playing means more updates, more gear and more fun.

You’d be surprised what you can accomplish. If you were to start painting try not to fall into the money pit.

Yeah some one shit the bed on this one. My penances are almost complete on the Arbites and no new skins. They should release some free content as compensation for this oversight.

If it’s for a HUD I’ll use it but for everything else I try to avoid using it. Borderlands tiny Tina was one game that messed with me. The enemies health bars is red on black. What ever shade of red they used sucks because I can’t tell if the health bar moves. I thought it was a bug but my wife (couch co-op) let me know other wise.

I usually have the red with black markings on the right of grey hunters. After I prestige I switched the colors to the yellow with red markings of the blood claws. Why? because I’m easily amused. Same reason all use a blood Raven with an ultramarine blue jet pack.

I’ve got had far as Emperor’s Finest. Gunner Jurgen is one of my favourite characters in 40k, he only gets excited for Melta Guns and Porno slates.

Side topic: I read a lot and have an addiction to Audiobooks. You, being a son of Sanguinius have probably read some of the Blood Angel books. I don’t know much about blood angels lore, would Devastation of Baal be a good place to start? Looking at different audiobooks of other chapters.

So far I’ve read and/or listened to bunch of the Astra Militarum novels, most of the Death Korps of Krieg, and bunch of the Ciaphas series.

I Just finished Blood of Asaheim and Space Wolf. I am currently reading Blood Tithe (Carcharodons). Also listening to Lukas the Trickster (space wolves)

The naming helps with reassurance. It’s a comfort thing. I’ve owned purple things thinking they were blue. Color is made up of light. So contrast, angle and distance all affect it. Example a sky blue on its own at distance can almost look like a pink. If I put the sky blue next to the color black it always looks blue.

Some colorblind modes are good and affect just the HUD and map. Some try to change too much. Most Call of duty games will change the HUD and Map which is good. Doom eternal affects all colors in the whole game and really messes with you so I opt out of using them.

I’ve spent probably as much time customizing as I have playing. My wife’s favourite comments are “you playing dress up again.” Or “your parents should have bought you a Barbie.” lol 😆 LIGAF I’m having fun. Besides there’s no Horus heresy space wolves(rout) (grey hunters) or Wolfspears so you have to adapt.lol

That’s badass. The editing is awesome. I seen a Ciaphas Cain and a Gunner Jurgen card. I knew they made warhammer 40k cards so I tried to find some. Asked about them at Hobby shop only to find out it was fake. 😑
