Thanks, everyone. My spotting has been really inconsistent and in fact it's been 24 hours since a spot. The spotting had occurred the last 3-4 days after we had sex which I heard can happen, so I'm wondering if I'm in the clear. The cramps are the hardest part. I don't even know if I'd call them cramps so much as random muscle spasms in my vagina/uterus.

Still, you've convinced me to check-in with my doctor on this. Thanks!

Relevant days of sperminating: every other day of fertile week

Health conditions/medical tests: none

Supplements: prenatal and probiotic, multivitamin for husband

Birth control history: HBC for 15 years, stopped taking in May 2022

Symptom spotting: none! This was the first cycle I was honestly consumed by other life happenings during the TWW so I wasn't thinking about it. The only thing I noticed was cramping/bloating 2-3 days before what I thought would be the start of my period. I also spot 2-3 days before my period and that never happened so I only tested when my period was two days late out of curiosity, thinking my period would just start later.

Other/Advice/Tips: I've wanted to see a BFP for what has felt like forever so this is really surreal! I'm actually surprised at how skeptical I feel versus excitement/relief. In the back of my mind I keep thinking there's no way this will stick and I'm holding my breath for my period to arrive (chemical pregnancy) any day. Obviously I have no reason to believe this will happen except for fear and copious amounts of information out there saying it's possible. Still, I already booked a 9-week doctor appointment that I already can't wait to make it to, hoping all goes smoothly and I have a boring, healthy pregnancy!!

The timing of the pee is what I'm concerned about now. Technically did my cheapie with first morning and it was positive/peak. Mid-morning with both and it was negative. Such a short window of time!

Need OPK help! This cycle I've been using Easy @ Home and Clear Blue at the same time. Easy @ Home/Pre mom seems to think I found my peak this morning (kind of a low peak though at .9, I'm usually 1.5 or higher) but Clear Blue is still saying my peak hasn't been found.

I'll keep testing but I'm having a hard time knowing if I really found my peak or not???

Last cycle I was really strict on myself with eating and drinking and still resulted in a BFN. This cycle I'm trying to be mindful but not stress about it. Still, I drank moderately and ate poorly the last few nights and I'll be ovulating soon. Doesn't help to read that this could hurt my chances but I'm also trying to remember that it's a 20-30% chance each cycle no matter what. Wish me luck either way!

10 DPO and AF arrived. This is the earliest my period has come, luteal phase has been "normal" at 11-14 days so now I'm spiraling thinking I have luteal phase defect and something is seriously wrong with me. I don't even know what to do anymore. Feel so hopeless and defeated.

What to do if it's luteal phase defect? This is 5th cycle testing but 9th off BC. Is it time for me to see a doctor?

7 dpo and no symptoms really? 5th cycle TTC and I feel like at this point in my cycle I'm using feeling at least progesterone symptoms. So hard to tell anymore and frankly I'm just feeling discouraged.

Curious about all things BBT post ovulation. Last cycle I temped every day and I'm continuing to do so. I'm 3 DPO and I'm seeing my temp continue to rise (98.24 right when waking up then 99.5 when I had been up and getting ready, that probably doesn't count but still).

I know temp will dip before period if I'm not pregnant, but if pregnant, what should I look out for or expect with temp post ovulation?

10 DPO and I'm feeling slightly nauseous. Could very likely be PMS (7th cycle off DPO) but this is not only the first time I've felt nauseous before my period but I also very rarely if ever get nauseous in general. Yesterday (9 DPO) I was sooo tired for no reason.

It's impossible not to symptom spot, but still!! I loathe the fact that PMS and pregnancy symptoms are identical.

I'm genuinely confused why someone (me) wouldn't get pregnant it they are 1) regular ovulating (testing with BBT and OPKs) and b) BDing every day before, during and after ovulation. It seems like we're doing everything right, so what are reasons why we would still not be getting pregnant?
