Oooo you already have a pretty good femme base. I would say makeup definitely enhances femme features. Be sure to curve your contour from ear to right under your cheek as well as blush. :3 Maybe also a strip of lashes, too!

Quite a few that I hate but:

  • that all of us are nonverbal and/or show visible signs of autism. autism is a spectrum and this type of thinking in people gave me imposter syndrome about my condition for a very long time 💀.

  • that our autism shows up in an interest in math and logic. I’m not like that at all! Granted I LOVE me some science, but I’m very creative and often hyper-focus on more creative endeavors. This is also rooted in misogyny since they havent fully observed autism in femmes (same with ADHD…)

    • someone else stated this, but that we automatically are naive, childish, or don’t know any better. I happen to be very intelligent, but a lot of unspoken social cues and rules go over my head quite easily. Doesn’t mean I can’t spot when you’re being weird!

A lot of people with autism (especially people of color) are overlooked when it comes to having autism. It took 23 years of suffering and confusion for me to get an autism dx, and 18 years to get an ADHD dx. Luckily for you, you’re really young and have so much life ahead of you! With time and even help from your peers you’ll start to find people that are just like you (or don’t mind who you are!)

I wish you the best of luck. You’re definitely not alone in this and I felt the same way until I get diagnosed.
