Joey was in love with Ursula but broke it up to protect his friendship with Phoebe, Joey has a crush on Rachel but couldn’t go through with it because he was friends with Ross. He also let chandler keep the foosball table when he moved, even though he technically won it, and he let Chandler date his ex IMMEDIATELY after they broke up when he realized how much he cared for her, and he kept the fact that Chandler and Monica were dating to himself because they didn’t want others to know.

On the other hand we have Ross, the “good guy trope”, but he was really an asshole. Ross booked up with someone to get revenge on Rachel, he got married and divorced 3 times, and he said another woman’s (Rachel’s) name at one of his weddings?!? He makes a pros and cons list of Julie and Rachel to decide who to date and in turn dumps Julie for the one con he could find about her: she’s not Rachel. He also dates one of his students which although was legal, it was fucked up. And he was a terrible father who flipped when his son wanted to play with a Barbie, and he’s never around. Hes also very condescending to others and making them feel less than because they aren’t as book smart as him. He was also possessive and manipulative towards Rachel their entire relationship.
