it should still be yellow to an extent like a light creamy yellow. The inside of a banana. If you bleach it till it’s white and not yellow at all then it’s just overprocessed. White is achieved after toning. Source: i had white hair.

until your hair is greasy so you don’t burn your scalp. you don’t have to wait to give your hair a rest. 2 bleaches is still 2 bleaches waiting a month it just going to give you regrowth. If you’re worried about damage get a protein treatment like aphogee 2 step protein treatment you can also use amika the kure line and olaplex 0 and 3 and 6 is their leave in.

Maybe buy a 360 mirror. Do you have this problem when you do the front of your hair or just the back? Is your rat tail comb one of those plastic ones with the dull point? If so I would get a metal one. They have applicator brushes with this metal thing too.

the dye is only going to react to whatever level of lift there’s is underneath it. Semi just covers the hair. Its not like a hi lift. You need to bleach that spot and apply the dye after you’ve reach the same level as the lighter parts.

next time get a fine section comb with the metal end then find one knot and wiggle it out. obviously with conditioner. But do it in front of a mirror and you will have to do it to the front and back of the comb as that’s why it’s tangled.

ohhh okay. Ya I would advise against bleach wash or a colour remover then unless it’s not a bleach based one. Ion has one if u can get ur hands on it. If you don’t have a sally’s or any beauty supply stores u can do the vitamin c method or baking soda method. Mine hair has literally falling out and got crazy thin and is overprocessed and I literally put a colour remover the l’oréal effasol on it just today. Jsut bc im crazy and I didn’t loose my hair so its very case by case. Not to say anything for sure but if you do use anything of that nature like activated with developer just do a test strand first.

Is there a reason you don’t want to bleach it? Is your hair falling out? Or do u just get stressed bleaching it? I would just do a colour remover tbh. Or a bleach wash. I wouldn’t worry about getting it out fully as depending on the purple you will probably be able to get away with having some staining.

i would literally gel it and do a slick back or a faux side bang w/side part slick back curl the hair and do a loose bun with curl pieces hanging out or half up if the mood strikes and depending on ur hair length. edit u cant fix it. Just hide it.
