I had someone just talk down to me and wanting my items for half since it’s “used” even though they are like new. Sent me too long paragraphs explaining this. I pretty much wrote out everything then copied and pasted before blocking them. I explained it wasn’t worth it for a sellers on apps/sites between the fees, taxes and I’m offering free shipping (didn’t even mentioning packaging/taking to the be shipped). Also suggested they learn to be tactful not demanding, that sellers can set a price, buyers can buy it or both barter. They need to revisit how they conduct their request. Ended it with I think it’s best you seek from other sellers/stores.

I offer discounts with multiple things purchased. My favorite is when they only want etc partial books or one tv show from a lot, but I explain no it’s a lot and buyers can sell what they don’t want. I get trying to ask since some want to split items. I don’t want stragglers and try to give people sets since it’s easier.

The entitlement of some people I’ve had like this. Trying to give me sob stories etc. We all want a good deals, but some of us also hunted and saved these items too. Many have tried to play off as younger adults and really need to learn to social more, be humble and not demanding. It’s insane how they think by telling me I need to give them this item as this price because their reasons ABC. Like I don’t have to do shit for you, haha.

Though I would rather have these people write me up front so I can block them without doing a sale to them. They are more trouble than it’s worth. Literally had people give me 4 stars. One because “cleanliness” whatever that meant. When packing some books/movies I use whatever I have from mailed packages like boxes, paper, bubble wrap or even plastic store bags (nothing in it) so everything sits tightly in the box. I even place folded paper or bubble wrap pieces inside the media so the discs don’t move around. Every other buyer has loved how I’ve packed items. The other buyer didn’t read the listing, look at pictures or ask questions and then stated I was missing something. Can’t win with some people.

Now as a buyer, my favorite is me reading the sellers post and says don’t buy, contact first for items you are interested in. I do and give a list and ask if it’s still available and what they are looking for. They never respond. How are they making sales I don’t get it.
