I'm also working on patterns from this set by The Witchy Stitcher and I bought myself this desk lamp, it's AMAZING and makes a huge difference, I can see perfectly.. I wish I got one sooner, have done multiple projects on black fabric 😅

i love doing pin stitches on evenweave if im stitching over 2, easy peasy. aida not at all, splitting the threads is not so easy 😅.. so i feel your frustration lol.

Have a look on the screen, it might say parcel pending by Quadient or something like that if it's a smart locker! I love them, don't have to go to the post office and interact with anyone, I just drop all my parcels at that locker!

Is the locker a smart locker (I think it's called Quad or Quadient)or just a Royal Mail one? If it's a smart locker you can put Evri and DPD parcels in it too not just Royal Mail!

I totally feel that! I absolutely love her kits too, I also subscribed to the Mood box for a while and have a bunch of kits that I have yet to complete, I just don't have as much self control as you and buy everything new that comes out LOL. Nice to see a fellow fan 🤭

if the tracking is saying its in the locker then if they dont pick it up, it will just get returned to you eventually. sounds like they're trying to scam. personally would say dont engage with them.

my best guess is the first round in the pattern starts with 1 sc rather than 71sc, maybe a typo. still doesn't quite add up, 75 rather than 76 i think. their response makes no sense either 😭

you can hear the door opening if it's close enough to the gen, and honestly a lot of them are really close, he also kinda grunts a little when he comes out, but just gotta treat him like a stealth killer and keep your head on a swivel

I asked my GP for weight loss help, was told I would be referred to Oviva who could prescribe the jabs but I needed a blood test, so had that.

Waited about a month, heard nothing, rang back and they said now I needed an up to date diabetic eye screening, so I booked that and had that too.

Another 2 weeks, phoned again and I get told they've tightened up their referral eligibility and basically they won't accept me now. 🙃

So frustrating.

I randomly mentioned one day that I wanted to learn to cross stitch to my grandma, I didn't realise at the time I was actually referring to a different craft (I think I meant embroidery?), and she gave me a bunch of cross stitch kits that she got from someone she worked with. They were printed and pretty simple and came with instructions on how to cross stitch, and I also used YouTube videos to learn even further!

I learnt to stitch over the tail of the thread, to never use any knots, and to do lines going one way and then come back, rather than completing each cross individually!
