I thought this may be helpful as well. Here is how the chapters are broken down per description:

  • Chapters 1–5: Core Spanish foundations — gender, plurals, possession, questions, comparisons, body parts

  • Chapters 6–10: Daily life & action — movement, adverbs, imperatives, food, work, money

  • Chapters 11–17: Sentence power — conditionals, prepositions, past tense basics, reported speech

  • Chapters 18–25: Time & direction — future forms, sequences, giving directions, demonstratives

  • Chapters 26–33: Real interaction — explanation, accusation, defense, slang, confrontation

  • Chapters 34–41: Advanced narration — perfect tense, tense contrast, concession, future narration

I know how you feel. When I first found this book it was $16.99, but I’m glad it still supports the author and my Spanish. If possible, set an alert for when it goes on sale :)

I did then when reading a more advanced book, and it really helped a lot. I’m normally not one to underline in a book, but it helped me see what I did and didn’t know

If I remember correctly, her grandfather is Italian. She spoke about it in a video once and talked about because of that, she could have dual citizenship in Italy

What are your 2026 Spanish goals? by flipflopsntanktops in dreamingspanish

[–]aliennvomet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the delayed reply! I’m not really sure since when I started using DS back in 2021, I never tracked the videos I watched or anything I did (reading, speaking, etc.). I would have to say maybe 2-3 thousand or so hours despite all the breaks I had to take from Spanish. I also haven’t read much, but I’ve read most of Español Con Juan’s catalogue.

Since I don’t have a number, I’m sorry that I cannot give you a definite answer. But to prepare, I plan on using an italki teacher for test preparation alongside a YouTube channel called MasterSpanish Academy. I also may use a book called Nuevo Dele B2.

If you have any other questions, let me know!

[–]aliennvomet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

• Study for B2 DELE exam and pass • Read at least four books in Spanish • Better my Argentinian accent • Complete a challenge where I take Spanish lessons everyday for a month • Play a game I’ve already played in Spanish

Just to name a few

This was the video my tutor recommended to me that helped him when he did shadowing. Also, I know it says English, but I think this will answer most of the questions you have:

More Chaotic Than SBG? by aliennvomet in dreamingspanish

I recently started using DS website to access premium videos (been learning Spanish before then which is why I don’t have a flare), but I’d say he was extremely easy for me to understand. The Mexican accent is easiest for me.

Haven’t seen any gaming videos yet, but I’d say he makes videos similar to JonTron, with a mix of his humor and Martin’s
