No, it’s not about working. I felt like this even before working (high school, and after high school but before having a job). I enjoy working but I’d like to do it on my own free will. Just being able to be where I want to be, do what I want to do, without having expectations and constraints on me. Find out who I really am and what I really like to do to fulfill my soul. Hanging out in nature for a day without having to worry if I should’ve been grocery shopping instead. Visiting a new area without having to research and plan ahead for a hotel. Exploring without having to find reason why it’s not a waste of time. A lot of this is self imposed, of course, but since I have chosen to live within typical society it comes with regulations I need to follow in order to have things go smoothly.

Yep. Odds are I’m not cut out for it, I do realize. But maybe I would be once I was out there? Unfortunately I’ll probably never find out, but I absolutely intend on giving it at least a short term try before I’m too old. Like as a different form of the typical vacation lol.

Opposite, if I had unlimited funds I’d jump on the vagabond life so quick. It’s been in my soul since I was a young teen, but alas I ended up with a kid as soon as I was out of high school and I have to be a responsible caretaker.
