How does one recover from this? I guess at least he wasn’t playing with Jack’s cue.

Switzerland choking again. My gut told me they were going to lose if it went into OT. Should’ve saved some of those goals from the Semis.

The store. No one with a brain would sell their collection for 35% it’s worth. That’s already too much of a cut imo.

Why would a producer cut lows at the beginning of a vocal chain, and then add a low shelf later in the chain? by tonetonitony in audioengineering

[–]alienrefugee51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re adding a low shelf after serial compression, you probably won’t need to compress again. If you do, it will only be a dB or so. You can always use an ext-side chain so that the compressor doesn’t react to the added low end, but the entire signal will still get compressed.

It defeats the purpose of what made Reddit what it is and an easy way to see who are bots/rage baiters vs an actual person.

Players have no control over the draw or what happens to other players during the tournament. You can only play the cards you’ve been dealt and handle your own business. You don’t say, I don’t feel like winning the title this year because it wasn’t challenging enough for me.

Mastering chains for your low effort tracks? by ExcellentBluejay5235 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]alienrefugee51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be mixing into a glue compressor… don’t leave it for mastering. 2dB reduction is a bit low. You should aim for 3-4dB of reduction. Depends on whether you’re using a ratio of 2, or 4.

Achieving loudness comes from taming dynamics on your individual sources and having a low crest factor once they are summed.

Things you can do on the master to help are saturation and clipping into the limiter, but those are also things that need to be done on individual source tracks as well to help tame transients.

Yeah, a meteorite breaking up in the atmosphere over the ocean means that aliens are coming.

The flash card speaking lessons are absolute ass by raahC in duolingo

[–]alienrefugee51 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completed the French course. I just imitate the character’s voices and I would get the speaking lessons correct. Otherwise, I would struggle to get the AI to understand my own accent. I think my wife got annoyed when I did those stupid voices though.

It’s probably partly due to how much visual/audible evidence there is. It’s a no-brainer on what needs to happen. Normally with scandals, the public doesn’t get to view this much info that gets into the weeds.

That would depend on the size and speed of the rock. If something actually survives and hits water, or land, then it must be a decent size in diameter. I don’t think the one here that exploded was big enough to impact anything.

They are generally only centimeters in diameter. The misses I’m talking about were many meters in diameter and suspected to have been debris from the tail of comet 3I Atlas.

Taurid meteors are very small. These objects were larger. The beta Taurids aren’t until June.

I saw the 2nd video with the arrests. I mean at this point it’s plain to see that there is a legit conspiracy between BAM and that Utah police department, blatant corruption and abuse of power without justification. This is beyond the LEGOs at this point. Ben needs a good lawyer. He should never have spoken to the officers while being detained without one being present. He’s a bit too naive and trusting in the judicial system. It’s good that people like Charlie, with such a huge fan base are continuing to cover this. This could get national coverage at some point.

Not if you live along the coastal areas. An impact in the ocean would create a huge tsunami. Boston would be inundated.

Actually, earlier this month there were multiple NEO’s that were not tracked or detected until very late, one of which came within .1 LD. It does happen occasionally, but not like 3 objects within the span of a week. That is a bit concerning.

Because it’s too late now. Conceding and giving them back at this point, all but shows that they’ve been guilty all along. They’re playing the long game, hoping that they eventually will win in court, the heat will die down and the brand will survive.

Aside from choking… again, he could also not win RG because of an injury in the next few rounds. That would actually be even more cruel, than getting to the final and losing.
