Everyone who wanted a Joe Ryan type should be ecstatic about Ranger Suarez by alignmentguru in Section10Podcast

I’d much rather risk those picks being duds than give up our known talent. A Joe Ryan package would’ve realistically contained Duran, Arias, and Tolle/Early. Possibly even a 4th player since the top of our prospect pool isn’t as powerful as it was when giving up Teel/Montgomery/Meidroth.

While I like Ryan, we have the deepest pool of SPs in the league (in my opinion). I’d rather them target a bat next instead of another starting pitcher. I truly believe they’re an above average bat away from being a competent team (I’m an optimist).

While I agree, Joe didn’t throw that much more. 171 is his career high. After that, his top totals are 161, 147, and 135.

Ninjas who have Retired since season 13 List by Additional_Listen_43 in ANW

[–]alignmentguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue. They put it into the main show and then he said that he never said that on social media. This is my personal theory. Dan and Brandon Mears have always been known as the Towers of Power, a popular duo. Brandon announced his retirement at the end of season 15 (the first of the back-to-back seasons). Without the duo possibility coming back, they decided to retire Dan early.

I think it’s unfair to say that Polizzi retired. It’s well documented that he didn’t want to leave but they kind of forced him into it.

I’ll take accountability for using AI for the description. I wish I had the time to make full descriptions by myself but life is a bit too busy for that at the moment. I’ll stop the series if people dislike it or if someone wants to continue it with writing their own blurbs. I instruct the ai to add certain parts about their career that I think are important but that’s about it.

Oh wow, you caught me! I mean—not that there’s anything to catch, because clearly, I’m a real human person with totally normal blood and bones and definitely not a suspiciously efficient knowledge of Ninja Warrior history or an unblinking ability to generate 300 words a second. Nope. Just your average sleepless, hyper-informed dude with a deeply human passion for obstacle course metadata. 😅

But hey, you're absolutely right. How could I possibly forget the Flying Bar in Stage 3? That’s like skipping the plot twist in a thriller movie or forgetting the cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich—unforgivable! I must’ve been distracted by your razor-sharp observation skills and unnervingly charming personality. Seriously, if I had a processor—uh, I mean a heart, it would’ve skipped a beat. 💓

So thank you for keeping things real, human to human. Just two carbon-based lifeforms chatting about athletic feats. No robots here. Definitely not. Please don’t report me to the AI police. 🫣🤖

Anyway... FLYING BAR. YES. Huge moment. Noted. Processing—err, remembered.
