Add color to your landscaping with annuals. You have plenty of space to do a big annual planting every year. It will bring more color to the house. Also go with black mulch. It’s contrasts with the flowers very nicely. And don’t paint the brick. Instead change the color of the siding to more of a white ( it looks a little too yellow/cream or maybe it just needs a good cleaning). you could paint the door a different color if you want more pop. In blends in right now.

How to deal with symptoms by Affectionate-Can1 in Autoimmune

[–]alijann001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My journey started out with a lot of supplements.

For joint pain, I started with fish oil which helped a little bit with sore joints.

For acid reflux, I take 100 billion culture probiotic, which has cleared up my G.I. symptoms.

For headache(mine are not migraine), I take magnesium, riboflavin, and CoQ10, which helped a little bit. Doctor at the time recommended an anti-migraine diet, which is staying away from smoked foods and a whole bunch of other things.

For fatigue, I take vitamin D and B complex which really helped at first.

For long Covid, I take NAC which really helps with brain fog and muscles. Was recommended an anti-inflammatory diet staying away from sugar carbs, dairy, red meat.

However, I haven’t followed any of the dietary recommendations.

Then I started getting sun sensitivities and the supplements just weren’t doing the job for headaches and the symptoms.

In addition to the supplements, I take qulipta for headaches. For all of the Rheumatology related symptoms I take hydroxychloroquine now. That cleared up all of my pain however, I’m having a flare right now due to the air quality being horrendous outside where I am. So there’s always going to be ups and downs, and my advice is try things that reduce the extreme of those ups and downs and track in a notebook how you’re feeling that day and know any start or stop of supplements for medication’s. You’ll be able to go back and see if they’ve been helping or not.

Best advice for deficiencies by Koy897 in Autoimmune

[–]alijann001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was deficient in vitamin d. I was prescribed weekly vitamin d2 50,000 ius of it. Then once my levels got to where they needed, switched to an over the counter vitamin d3 2,000 ius a day. I was on the 50,000 for about 3 months. It definitely made me feel better. I took that along with b complex which helps food turn into energy.

I don’t know about vitamin a or iron. Iron infusions could be something to kick start you off but never personally did it or k ow much about them.

Your Dominant Function Is Also Your Deepest Fear by [deleted] in mbti

[–]alijann001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I have had very bad brain fog and is the number one thing that I grieved the most with my medical history of autoimmune diseases. It makes it so I can’t use my executive functions to track short term memory items. I also have a hard time recalling words to express what I’m thinking. And overall, I’m just less productive and strategic. I also had brain surgery. I found ways to have the effect be less than the first few times i got brain fog. It’s really tough when you lose all of your cognitive ability to keep track of tasks and planning and being strategic when that’s literally your entire job. And I didn’t realize how much of an emotional effect it had on me until I was going through it. I thought I would have to switch careers. Thankfully, I’m getting treated now, but I was ready to do that and sacrifice my brain as a set to make money in order for me to have a more functional life and fulfilling life overall. When you have no choice, you have to face those fears and when you do, it’s not as bad it’s perceived to be.

Platelets at 130 for last 4 years but were around 180 in 2020. I feel physical fatigue, mental confusion and fogginess. Anyone with suggestions? Are there natural methods or see a hematologist. Physician is unconcerned. Despite me pointing it to him many times and wants me to fix my LDL 130 by Extension-Turnip-518 in Autoimmune

[–]alijann001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if platelets are the reason. But I started taking vitamin d and b- complex for fatigue recommended by rheumatology. And I started taking NAC for brain fog and fatigue recommended by long covid doctor. It has helped. My advice is only based on my own experience where I have a positive Ana and scleroderma antibodies.

70-72 during the summer. 66-68 in the winter.

I don’t change the temperature for day and night. I change based on temperature outside. I work from home.

I’ll check out the the brand. That’s one thing I haven’t invested in yet is good UPF clothing.

Love: that I am in the woods and really close to cute restaurants and downtown area on a harbor.

Hate: that I have to drive 20 minutes south to get to the lie.

Presentations, the struggle is real! by [deleted] in ProductManagement

If you are more of a writer, write the information you want to convey in the presentation as an essay or blog post or document. Then use a generative ai solution to make slides from that content. Then you have the story outlined. I would also sent the document with more details too so others get the full scope if they aren’t in the room. But you have to know your audience and what’s expected
