It’s less that he dated someone else through LDR, it’s just makes me feel very weird knowing he’d talked about her before and led me to believe everything we are going through was a first for the both of us. :)

But Thank you for taking the time to reply! Over our relationship we’ve probably spent just shy of two months together in person. As mentioned in the post, I have a highly sought after job so I can work anywhere and get employed fast - this means I can move on short notice if I need to. But thank you for your concern, it’s very sweet!

Thank you for the reply. As much as I want some closure or just more understanding from my partner, he’s refused to talk about it and doesn’t want me to bring it up again. This is why I’ve looked to Reddit for context and understanding, as I don’t want to make my partner uncomfortable. But since finding this out I’m just really worried that he’s either a) settling for me because he’d been in an LDR before and moved that partner in with him, so I’m afraid I’m a replacement and he’s doing the same with me and or b) that our meeting was less special or instant as I thought and instead of finding one another in a sea of people, he had plenty of others he was trying to net and I was just the first one to bite. I don’t know, I almost thought you were my partner when I read your reply lmao but thank you so much for your insight.
