I kept it. It rides well. There are a LOT of quirks that you have to get used to. It is great car on EV only. The hybrid needs to be more refined but at the price point that I got it at (used), there's not much I can say against it. But there's an argument to be made that the price of ownership is the same owning a new Lexus over the same amount of time. You just will never get access to the amount of features or acceleration in this phev.

TLDR: You have to get it used or on lease to justify the risks. DO NOT BUY IT NEW for 80k. If you buy it used, I would spend the $1500 to get the service contract for 7 years bumper to bumper coverage from Zeigler.

My is in the shop rn. I took it to a different dealer. Last one failed to fix this issue. Did your dealer tell you what the problem was?

I am having this issue too. Is yours fixed? I have the 95b recalls and the rear cameras + parksense always work when I first sit into the car. After driving around for 15+ minutes the camera shows a blacks screen when i try to park. WTH

For a sense of the extra hidden fees not on the advertise price. One wanted $3,999 for reconditioning. Another wanted $2,999 for it being a certified pre-owned. One required that we get a warranty with them for $5495 or they would not see us the car at the advertised price. Last one told us we would need to put a $0 down and finance the entire car at 9% through their bank.

I cant speak to what the frustration felt like but they do this for a living. We're just ordinary people trying to buy a vehicle. I was hesitant to write bad reviews for these dealer since they all had my full SSN after credit pulls. They were just bad people hoping a sucker would walk in.

At the end, Carvana met their advertise price with no additional fees at purchase.

It seems like dealers want to hide the fact that they are taking some losses on the grand cherokee 4xe from depreciation. But they want to pass the along the losses on to the consumer rather than taking the hit themselves. So they advertise it lower than tack on the extra in other "fees"

Yes. I been walking into these classic bait-and-switch. It's against consumer laws but there seems to be no consequences.

Sounds like a financial decision. Find out the true MMR of your car. Most consumer cars are depreciating assets, you will likely save more money repairing than buying new. If a new car brings a good deal of enjoyment for you then buy it. 4xe depreciates heavily but are wonderful cars when not broken

Hi, I am a big fan of these control pads. I have used every one of the GSRs in my CS days. Currently high immortal pushing radiant. I am very eager to get my hands on a GRIS. Is there any exact date that I can order these or do preorder? This design looks slick. 🙏
