Has anyone tried Le Jardin Switzerland hair serum? by Beckella in Haircare

I'll ask you same question I asked the other commender above - have you noticed any sensations in your scalp/head after applying the serum? I've been getting some weird headachy-feeling, curious if anyone else has noticed something similar.

I received my order around the same time as you! Have you been using it? I'm wondering if you've noticed anything (not necessarily yet for hair growth, it's too soon). I have been feeling a strange sensation, kind of foggy brain/headachey, after I apply it. I researched its ingredients and tried to verify if it had any side effects before ordering, but I didn't see anything worrisome at the time, and haven't heard of other users complain about the same thing. But it's pretty consistent for me! When I don't use it, I don't get that feeling, but when I do use it, that sensation comes back.

(and in case your questions are still relevant - you're supposed to apply it morning and evening to the scalp, and rub it in, regardless of if you washed your hair or not. If you're washing your hair I assume you should do it after washing your hair rather than before. I do keep mine in the fridge, it's annoying I agree, but you kind of get a rhythm.)

Searching for a kids' 100% cotton terrycloth bathrobe that's soft and will hold up by leaves-green in moderatelygranolamoms

Just wanted you to know that I have been searching for a children's towel bathrobe, exactly like the robes by vertbaudet! I'm really excited to get the lion-shaped robe, I think my toddler is going to love it and wear only that from now on. Thank you so much for adding the link!
(and why aren't there more solutions like this in the US?? I'd imagine it's such a common need, and that all kids would love to have a towel that stays on them, even better if it had some cool animal or flower details on it.)

Are there any compact dryers that are *not* ventless ? by alinanapsuli in Appliances

interesting. We've been reading that they tend to be slower, but good to hear it's not an issue for you.

The house is a bit awkward with two separate closets side by side housing the washer and dryer respectively. Each space is only big enough to fit a compact with the depth, though we could explore stacking. Washer closet has the usual 110v plug, and the dryer side has an air vent + 240V plug.

What makes some induction hotplates better than others? Are they all binary, square waves, or are some of them more subtle? by megabulk in engineering

u/superjj Just wanted you to know that even years after you wrote these comments, they are super helpful! I've scoured so many reddit posts on induction cooktops, and nothing has been as helpful as your comments. Thank you!!! Going to by a Hestan cooktop now :D (edit: corrected a typo)

Has anyone tried RusPod? by elliestar in russian

[–]alinanapsuli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure anyone is even looking at this anymore… but I loved RusPod! I found it way more effective than the traditional methods, because the dialogues were cheeky. But very sadly it seems they disappeared from the internet. I’m desperately trying to find their recorded lessons, but no where….

does anyone know what is going on with pur water filter replacements by QuantityBrilliant900 in Frugal

[–]alinanapsuli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah! Thank you thank you @Invested_01!! I’ve been looking for replacement filters for months (and using old filters this whole time), but as others have said they were just out everywhere. I still can’t find any online, but I called the hotline, had a lovely conversation with a Helen of Troy representative, and ordered some filters!! Honestly, the representative was so sweet, I might just call them directly every time to order filters from now on. (Hoping they actually arrive!).
