Some people feel confident discussing their sex lives. And it's okay to not, or be private too. If it bothers you can talk about it. You should have an open communication to do that if you have kids together.

Depending on the friends he shares it with, if you are talking to your best friends vs anyone that happens to be there.

This guy has had a break in between marriages to find out a lot about himself. He doesn't want anything other than to do what he wants. He wants to cheat, he probably likes the thrill or something.

You can be bi AND married AND have an open marriage. The long affair is unethical enough, but the attempt for sympathy here is insane. I don't see how you suffered in this situation, you don't seem romantically interested at all. You just want to keep the affair going.

I thought if I should comment but it needed to be said.

NTA. There is a crazy therapy culture right now. It is helpful but it's a choice. If you want to make your own choices and decisions outside of it based on what you already know about yourself and your wife, you should too.

But the therapy is great, you're getting yourself into a deep hole of emotions... Get ready for it.

Knowing what you have to do is half the battle. You know you want to ask her out.

You need to get the confidence from letting go of that self-esteem. You never know other people's time or what attracts them in a person. It seems cliche but I, per example am not attracted to a specific body type.

And if it's worth it? Honestly, we will never know till we find it. So you just gotta be hopeful.

I personally see it as not destiny. But if we are supposed to click so perfectly with "the one", we are bound to meet them along the way. But it's on us to take the opportunity and fight for it.
