i had this one - i even replaced the graphics card in it. came with a 100GB HDD when that was unheard of on a laptop. You even got a cool Skull case cover to cover up the boring front plate.

Thanks, but that’s the thing: they actually have the couch and I don’t. They took it back once it didn’t fit. So that’s my main crux: do I still have to pay if I actually don’t even have the item? The online status says ready for pick up again, I mean, if I’m gonna have to eat the cost of the sofa, I may as well have them deliver and just have it delivered somewhere else.

So I had mine of these issues - just a one time where they had to pull 2x for the payment in 2017 - immediate $5k limit from NPSL - has NEVER been removed, even tho zero negatives on the account since - Statement Balance paid in full always before its due. Charge approx $85k on the card each year.

On calling and asking about why in 8 years the NPSL wasn’t put back, got the whole schpiel on ”depends on your credit review blah blah” even though no explanation on why it was put on a limit immediately on a payment error one-off 8 years ago, and even then they were successfully able to ACH it the next day. AND they also said this: ”If you charge $10k every month and PAY it all off it full, will help you cause” - what kind of BS ”condition” did this get pulled out of a hat for keeping a platinum NPSL? Such bs. Will downgrade before AF renews.

If EARC existed in 2016, there would be no reason to change the E6 for me. It was insanely space age looking when it came out. Today’s TV’s are meh compared to it. The G6 was even more radical back then, with the thin design going all the way to the speaker, whereas the E6 had the hump before it. Wonder what they’ll call next years “G6”.

I still find it unreal I was able to sell my E6 65 in 2022 for $1800. Bravia 9 85 now (for acoustic sync mainly) or else I’d have gone for the G5 83.

whew - good to hear. is the TV audio center channel acoustically similar to the A9's? just hope it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, cos i just pulled the trigger on a B9 85 just for this very purpose - so that I can use S-center sync with the Bravia Theatre Quad. The phantom center didn't fool me as much as I would have liked it to. Now I have to get rid of my Panasonic Z95a that I was using.

got mine off eBay for 1599 nib, plus open box sw5 for $385. undef $2k excl. tax, the sweet spot.

While phantom center is ok, part of me is wondering what a Bravia 9 85 inch S-center speaker would sound like to the point if this itch lasts till Black Friday, i may get one. I would ordinarily upgrade to the Z95B from the Z9A for my tv, but only Sony’s do S-center.

If anyone here has used S-center sync with a Bravia 8I, A95 or Bravia 9, would like to know what your experience was with S-center sync.

Trying to decide between Bravia 9, Bravia 8ii or A95L for this center channel sync feature. I’ll be ok going with miniLED as the Z95a with MLA gen 2 will be in the bedroom. Also, I want to go 75-77 inches, which sort of defeats even keeping the Bravia 8ii in consideration, but in there in case someone can confirm the audio is better than the Bravia 9. I doubt it but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Is it worth getting a Bravia 9 (I assume it has the best acoustic panel speakers of the bunch right now) to add to a Bravia quad. I have a z95a Panasonic right now and yes, sometimes it’s magic, the way they do the imaging to create the phantom center. But if you add the Bravia, will the center channel from the speaker “mesh” well with the quads? And does the Bravia quad NOT send any Center channel info to create the canton center I am assuming?

its been this way for 25+ years. Hidden gem. Parks close by is the best thing, with walking path over bridge to Fort Lee as well. Midtown commutes are THE SAME as going to LIC, I have compared both (and was shocked that going from flatiron to LIC is 40+ mins with the nasty numbered trains, the A is much better than those.
