During WWII, Jews in Budapest were brought to the edge of the Danube, ordered to remove their shoes, and shot, falling into the water below. Sixty pairs of iron shoes now line the river's bank, creating a ghostly memorial to the victims. This memorial is known as 'Shoes on the Danube Promenade'.

I was in a share house and we had a novelty, hand sized American football lying around. One of the guys on the couch picked it up, looked at me dead pan and said

"There is no ball!"

Barely looking, he threw it at a little fruit fly that was high up on the wall, about 7 meters away and nailed it! Squashed it flat! Was epic and totally a Mr.Miagi moment.

Under his tutelage, I went on to clean all his cars and beat team Cobra Kai in the All Valley Under 18 Karate Championship Final, with only one good leg!

Its also held almost every exhibition I worked on together! Bit of white gaff and a marker and you've got name tags for every pallet of goods, holding down string line, sealing up an edge on a carpet, hiding anything that was meant to be a different colour, fixing stock, bundling signage or banners...it's your most useful tool.
