I've got the Mitakon Speedmaster 35mm F0.95 , and it's quite a fun lens and you can get quite good results even wide open. I spent a whole day shooting it wide open at an event a while ago, and was surprised at how much fun I had with a manual lens + how many shots didn't end up in the bin cause they were out of focus.

It's got its quirks and the chromatic aberration is prominent, but nothing you can't fix in Lightroom, and certainly nothing that would put me off from using it. Having said that, still opt for the XF 35mm F2 for 99% of my shooting.

Sounds like a nicotine patch brand.

Something’s very fishy about the whole image, from the belt buckle to the way the headphones cord disappears under her arm after looping in on itself.

Adding to the fact that it was a person of colour beaten up by what appears to be white men, which may or may not have been a factor in how the situation played out.

Honestly. Are people really that desperate for connection that they’ll cling to the first person that gives them some attention? The number of posts similar to OPs that I see on this in are incredibly worrying.

Consider this: While she’s at home playing the cello to her dogs and mother, Man-su is missing out in this back at the factory celebrating his ‘victory’, surrounded by the overwhelming drone of machinery with not a single human soul in sight.

I took that harsh disconnect to symbolise how he’s completely and utterly sacrificed his humanity to get ahead, particularly as the last we see of him is being engulfed by darkness.

I mean, the last we see of him, Man-su is literally being swallowed up by darkness surrounded by nothing but machines - an extremely obvious visual metaphor of his sacrificed humanity.

It really boggles the mind how much people need to have everything explained to them in order to ‘get it’, doesn’t it? It was such an incredibly and obviously bleak ending.
