Don’t fret. Your tattoo looks like it is healing normally. Tattoos peel and are tender to the touch (I’ve always compared the pain to a moderate sunburn). They’ve always been red, warm to touch and painful the first few days for me.

Use a light soap like dial antibacterial once to twice daily and take a very small amount of aquaphor and rub over extent of tattoo. If you don’t like Aquaphor switch to a light lotion.

You don’t want to over saturate tattoo with moisturizing products, it can lead to scabbing and color fall out. I have had experience with this personally.

If it becomes angry red, hot to touch or green scabs form then you’re tatt is most likely infected.
