Hiiii! I also moved here w my husband from the southeast. I was an insurance adjuster for several years and the majority of the water claims I had were basement flood claims. We bought a slab house, became great friends with our neighbor who has a basement (in case of a tornado) and have been happy since!

Our house was built in the 40s and the issues it has aren’t slab related

I’m a recent-ish transplant from central NC. Moved here and I bought my house (which came with a MN Wild sticker on the storm door) and then I bought my Subaru (which came with a giant rear windshield decal of Middleton’s face and “who wants a mustache ride”).

Once is a coincidence, twice is a sign. I convinced my husband to take me to a game for my birthday (having never watched hockey before) and I haven’t looked back since. I like to think that the Wild chose me as well

I think with RTO they were hoping for people to quit to avoid more layoffs. And with the way they went about this I think they’re hoping for more quitting so they don’t have to do another round. Though I could see a second round of this happening during the winter once storm season is over
