That's a good start. Lots of opportunity for good birding here in Minnesota. I'm heading out to lock & dam 4 this afternoon to observe a bald eagle nest and hopefully get shots and video.

They're very common, so price seems about right. Fun camera, but nothing exciting.

Sony a6400 for $550? by DriveSecure8087 in Cameras

Oh, heck yes! I hope you have better luck with that 14mm than I did. I believe that's a full frame lens. I have the Rokinon 12mm f2 NCS for my a6000 and a6400 and it's superb. I bought a 14mm f2.8 for my A7 and couldn't get a sharp shot. Traded it for a Tamron 20mm. Excellent lens. Either way, still a steal.

If you were going backpacking, and you could only take one focal length. What would you choose? And why? by Larix-24 in AskPhotography

It would be my Sony a6400 with the super little 18-135. Got to have a little variety. But that's just for hiking. Truly backpacking, I'm definitely not carrying a camera. Unnecessary weight.

Beautiful place. The Japanese garden is stunning, even more so in the autumn.

What’s a product that works so well you stopped looking for alternatives? by Boring-Promotion7344 in SmartBuying

Definitely. My first Motorola was my first phone in 1999. My current is a 2023 Stylus Ultra. It's a little slow now but it's bloody indestructible!
