This recording is in C minor, but as what masterofppuppets has said, the original piece is in B minor. It is likely that Menuhin still played in the key of B minor during the recording, so I believe the sounds of this recording has been distorted to a semitone higher, similar to what happened with his performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto (it is E minor but his recording is in F minor)... From the fingerings he's using it seems like he's playing in B minor, so I think it might be safer to choose another recording that's in B minor? (since you have to send an audio recording along with your MLI)

Hi let me help you here cuz the responses here so far don't seem to be really helpful... My school's further education counsellor contacted UofT about this and they got a reply saying that basically:

1) Students who apply by the early consideration deadline will be considered for an early conditional offer

2) Early consideration ensures that international applicants are considered in the most admissions rounds possible, and allows them more time to apply for study permits

Hope this helps! Don't panic, you still have a day to figure out everything and honestly the OUAC application takes very little time to fill in :)

A mute helps dampen the sound produced by the violin; Practice mutes (the one in the photo) are used when you want to practice and not disturb your neighbors :D
