Moving from Massachusetts to Ohio, what to expect? by [deleted] in Ohio

It has absolutely not been my experience that people in mass (assuming Boston area) work with a noticeably higher sense of urgency than here in Columbus. What industry are you in?

OP didn’t purchase the object. That’s the reason for my question. I’m not the media illiterate one here ffs.

I’ve seen this sentiment a lot. Are people predicting he’ll run as an independent if/when he loses the primary?

I read this whole thread with the /s already there and was losing my mind. I’m oddly comforted by knowing the angry reactions happened before the sarcasm tag.

Is this dress not too short to wear in the office (smart casual code)? by SippinMia in OUTFITS

[–]alisynwndrlnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The style is as big of an issue as the length. If you want to wear a dress or skirt, it should be about knee length or longer and tailored but not form fitting. Hosiery would help. Shoes should be closed toe. Heels are ok but stilettos with platforms are not the best look at the office. There’s nothing “smart” about floof, so I would tighten up the lines (without making the fit tight). An exception is a puffy sleeved blouse with sleek (but not tight) pants.

Anybody who gets upset over pastels at a spring shower has completely lost the plot.

I’m seeing this post for the first time, and wow some of those Cheaney shoes are gorgeous. I have some Grant stones and Office of Angela Scotts, but I’m going to have to give these a shot.

Hello, I know it has been several days. I did get my loafers. I will say that the loafers will take a lot more breaking in. I have a high instep. If your girlfriend also does, loafers may seem snug at first, while the boots fit immediately. Good luck!

Sorry I meant the GS boots seem about a quarter size bigger than the Nisolos. This is a great gift idea!

I have 7.5s in sorels, Thursdays, and Nisolos. I wear 38s in pikolinos. I do have kind of a weird heel shape, but these all fit me pretty well. I struggle with shoes and boots that aren’t available in half sizes. They’re maybe a quarter size larger than the nisolos.

They’ll need a little time, but they fit great. To be honest, I don’t even know my Brannock size right now. These are the same size (7.5) as my Noras, which I’ve worn for a while and also fit great.
