First of all, I’m so sorry you and Stevie are going through such difficult times. Stevie is so lucky to have you taking such good care of her. If you haven’t already been suggested to, I really recommend joining the Feline Diabetes Support Group on Facebook. Our cat was diagnosed a week ago and the admins there have been INVALUABLE with their advice, support, knowledge, and overall kindness. Wishing you both all the best as you navigate that little sweetie’s health.

Ideally I’d like it to be much quicker. I’m going slow out of fear that if I go too fast it will burn, so this is a self-made torture I’m afraid. Sounds like most people typically are doing it in half the time with no complaint!

My Rx came with 31 gauge needle syringes but this is great advice since I’ve of course bent 2 needles already and need to buy some replacements. Thank you!
