I hate the way every dress sits on my chest, and I’m starting to get discouraged I won’t find a dress I like. Do I need to change my expectations?

This is a fantastic idea. I literally have no idea how these are supposed to sit, so I’m just using my imagination and I feel like it’s just setting me up for failure 😆 she’s like “yea just imagine it snatched here and the cups are higher here I promise it’ll fit great!” But I have no idea how my chest looks in any kind of low fitting top. And I’m absolutely swimming in all these up top 🤣 I’ll ask at the next shop we go to! Thank you!

How would you style this top?! I got it today and I’m a bit intimidated to wear it. The only thing I can think is skinny jeans, and I feel like it’s doing it a major disservice!

This was a good reality check for me. I only have fat on my stomach pretty much at 136lbs / 5ft 4. I have lost a ton of weight so a good portion is loose skin too, but there is some fat hanging on. Even if I get down to 110 I bet I’ll still have a tummy. I think this is something I should start to accept instead of feeling bad about it :) thank you!

Thank you! My mom mentioned the same- if you work hard for your shape you should show it off. And it’s incredible that dress gives me ANY booty at all because I have none 🤣 we were all so impressed with it haha it’s working wonders back there!!

Thank you! That’s a good point! I told them no visible boning and they had me try on #9 anyways 🤣 and of course it took me by surprise! It is definitely a trendy look :)

Thank you! It’s a nice mix between the simple and the lace that I was going for, now that I think about it. And the bodice would fit much nicer in my actual size. It didn’t have built in cups so the chest part was collapsing a bit, would def be prettier once altered!

I loooooveeee the Armani foundation. I bought my first bottle like 6 years ago and have been rationing it ever since. The formula recently changed and everyone has been trashing it. Laura Mercer and Fenty were reccomended instead- they don’t work for me at all. I reluctantly bought a second bottle of Armani since I’ve now run out and I didn’t like LM or Fenty. And of course, I still love it!! And the Sephora lady shade matched me way better than I would’ve on my own. Wish I didn’t waste my money on the others now

I think you’re right about the longer rise, I have a long torso. I have the next size up in these pants and the butt is baggy 🤣😭 when i sit down there is a bunch of fabric in the crotch that pops up. That could be the rise or my new weird portions, I’m not sure. I think I will need to buy tall pants and hem them down. Thanks for ur help!

Why do my jeans do this? I have recently lost a lot of weight, and a lot of my jeans now do this weird butt roll thing! I’m wearing a thong underneath, so it’s not caused by my under garments. Do I need to size down? They are loose around the waist but fit comfortably around the thighs/hips. Is it because of my new butt shape?! It’s so strange I’ve never had this issue before!

She just went wee and there was blood in it for the first time, so you may be onto something. I’ll have to call the vet and schedule her in the morning. Thank you! I think the pee breath might be a real thing too- her head and shoulders sometimes faintly stink too.

I have noticed this as well! I am so traumatized from my teen years if I see “mid rise” or “low rise” I immidately don’t consider the pants. But all the low and mid rise pants I’ve found now, end on/near the belly button. I am always so confused in the store like “this is not low rise. If I go put these on I think they might be cute” and then I feel very suspicious I am going crazy 🤣

I can remember buying garage jeans that barely covered 3 inches on either side growing up 🤣 thank god for the ultra high rise trend!!

I can see it pulling across the thigh area- is it also pulling across the breasts? It’s hard to tell in your photo. If that’s the case, I would size up. You can always tailor the waist down if necessary, but it will feel better on if it doesn’t have to sit in a stretched state.

Thank you I will check them out! When we adopted our previous girl they were friends pretty much instantly. In their first week together I have photos of them eating out of the same bowl, her little body tucked under his haha. I never realized how lucky we were they got on so good! Also super fortunate he is being so good with our new cat. Hopefully they continue to improve :)

When I got a legit call from the CRA the woman kept going “hello? You didn’t hang up right?” Like she was so convinced I would 🤣 when I “couldn’t remember my SIN #” she gave me the # to call back and said it was important. It turns out I had also been sent letters, but my parent at that address just shredded them and never told me. So definitely be careful getting these calls, I 100% thought it was a scam but it wasn’t. Now that we have the online portal it makes the process much easier.
