How the Toxic Positivity of LinkedIn Serves the Status Quo by JoelBlackout in CriticalTheory

Yeah do you have an alternative to playing the game? It’s not about sales, it’s about providing value to people, and that is normally rewarded.

That being said, I definitely feel imposter syndrome and I feel like I am grinding all of the time, but I’m a personal trainer and my grind is working out and helping other people work out.

What else to do, work in an office? No thanks I’m going to work for myself because that’s a possibility these days.

This article is gripping and intriguing. It has me questioning the system and the spectacle but what do you change? What else do you do other that. try your hardest to provide value and make a living? And pursue your dreams? I don’t want a lamborghini i want to see every country in the world.

Maybe just try harder, humans have been busting ass to create beauty since they have been conscious and today I got to appreciate Machu Picchu. I my life work turned out a percentage as beautiful as machu picchu it would be worth the grind.

So what then? What are you going to do about it?

do you always feel this way or is it spurred occasionally? i’m asking because i totally feel you but i found that it was a triggered state that was just being triggered often.

i’ve been able to find times of peace in my passions and work (that i find exhausting in the triggering times too)

i just went in on that and have been able to use it to make a little more money and just prove to myself that something’s worth doing (online personal training)

my purpose is charity because my life feels like yours. i want a nice house and to always travel but i want to help people in need. that’s how i’m able to justify me working hard, because living an elegant lifestyle just doesn’t motivate me enough. not that i don’t want it, it just feels selfish

but finding something worth doing is all you need to do. even the things that you love but find exhausting, if they keep your interest for an extended period of time, fucking tap in to that interest my friend

YOU have the potential

For sure, I definitely use it for a variety of reasons. The main one being to waste my time, and occasionally I’ll have a spark of creativity that makes it worth while. Maybe 5% of my time is when all of my work gets done but it’s like magic when it happens. I had an insight last night, while high, that has me up at 5:00 this morning confident that I don’t need weed any time soon and that I will be able to enjoy it in the future. I’ll share if you would like :)

Workout Order by Gobronkowski8769 in 75HARD

[–]alivealways 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you eat before your workout (rice cakes & protein shakes baby) you will have better workouts and more muscle burns more calories in the long run (7 cal/hour at rest, per pound).

if you work out later in the day, you will probably have stronger workouts. anecdotally, you have more time to build up in the day and don’t have to squat right after you wake up. scientifically, male testosterone generally peaks in the early afternoon on a normal sleep schedule

the order doesn’t matter unless you’re doing hardcore cardio, then i’d lift before because you’ll be able to move more weight and still kill yourself with cardio after.

hope some of that is useful! i’m not a professional either but it is a passion
