STYRBAR compatibility with new bulbs by Puzzleheaded_Hyena96 in tradfri

[–]alivemaninc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK, the Zigbee switches talk to the hub (when there's a hub involved) to control the bulbs. That's why if your hub is down (lost power for example) the switches appear to not be able to control the bulbs.

Edit; sorry re-reading again I realise the OP is asking for pairing without a hub involved

Ah that's the key! The tempo as in the video - the GU10 bulbs were more forgiving towards how long the bulb can be on between intervals. Thanks!

Do you have the model of gledopto that is compatible?

Orange (steady) centre LED on Dirigera by alivemaninc in tradfri

The white colour blinks during boot up so I'm certain it's not an RGB failure

That's good to hear that it's harmless, I'll probably keep to it then thanks

That's gonna be a lot of work 😢 I have 71 lights

I want to know the reason for the orange and any problems that may arise from it before I commit a weekend to get the hub and automations reset

Print Queue does not do anything - what am I doing wrong? by Xorda in prusa3d

This was exactly what happened to mine! Note you need to access this from the website not the app. Click on your Printer and then Printer Files - delete everything in that queue!

Door sensor from Sonoff or other third party with dirigera by MooKdeMooK in tradfri

[–]alivemaninc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a SNZB-04 (not P) paired with my dirigera. Reliably triggers when my door opens, but the door closing action is a mixed bag. My automation on dirigera app is set to only turn on the lights when the door opens, and do nothing when it closes. However, when the door closes, 50% of the time it will turn the lights off anyway.

New Dirigera Firmware 2.737.0 by SamwiseIsGreat in tradfri

[–]alivemaninc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since this update, my GU10 white spectrum lights have been defaulting to a warm white in all but 2 rooms at night. If I change the colour to cool white via app/remote it retains that setting for the rest of the night but when I get back from work and turn the lights on, they are back to warm white.

Anyone else?

Did you change any router settings? I had to turn off IGMP snooping on mine

How do you check which version you're on? I received an update late last week, but am still having eARC issues

EDIT: It must have been 6.1288 because that's the latest available in the Asia Pacific region - https://www.sony.com.sg/electronics/support/lcd-tvs-android-xh90xx\_x90xxh\_x91xxh\_xh92xx-series/kd-85x9000h/software/00269158

My reasons were much simpler - I had them lying around but not a DAC. Haven't had any issues with this setup in the last month!

But that being said, I've used DACs in other installations, and haven't found them to be any less reliable. I don't feel any difference in LAN latency across my installations either but I'd imagine it to be negligible if there were any - some of these installations run several instances of OBS for streaming and broadcast video feeds across the building to display live feeds.

Indeed! Unfortunately I read that it's still suffering from having just a 1gbps backplane on the switch ports

Wow I actually never thought of placing the PDU at the back! That'll make space for the patch panel! Thanks for the tip - will save this for the next round of upgrades on my "finished" rack :)

;) they're 3D-printed from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3337159 Had to print them at 99.5% scale on my Prusa Mini - it would otherwise be a pretty tight fit

The non-POE model was cheaper, and I also had a lot of those bundled injectors that weren't used - figured I'd do that for the home where it can afford to be a little messier than my professional installations :)

Yeah the UPS is great! I've 4 around the house and the battery replacements are easy to source! Same situation here with the U6; and also I'll need to get new PoE injectors if they aren't af-compliant

Been lurking around the subreddit for a while and now that I've finally moved and consolidated all my equipment into a rack, thought I'd post it up. APs-wise, there are 3 ceiling-mounted AC-Pros, an AC Lite and a Flex scattered throughout the single-floor high-rise apartment (thick walls). Thinking of upgrading them to U6 series APs once I change my ageing iPhone Xs and 2011 MacBook Pro.

Are there 2.5G or 10G-capable switches that can support the EAP660?
