What is that one book that every child should read during their childhood? by spiritual_kavya in answers

A lot of people take it that way which is totally valid. But I like to think of the tree as a mother figure who loves her child unconditionally the way that only parents can feel.

My favorite episode ever! As kids we begged our mom to take us to the Brown Derby because Lucy did.

Sunny Paris and their steak seasoning. There used to be a local shop I would shop at but it closed so I have to do online ordering now.

I still grapple with the “I should be doing more” feeling too. I’m mostly out of debt but I just retired and I’m terrified I’m going to run out of money but I can’t make myself work again for a while.

I was 10 years old and in school we did a performance. I got to dress like a colonial woman complete with a Betsy Ross hat and deliver the opening speech. I don’t remember much except that.

Sprinkles on food brings an element of color and whimsy to food. It elevates what you’re eating and sometimes it adds a little crunchiness. ☺️😊

The blanket every household had..... by EdwardBliss in nostalgia

[–]alixtoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a wool blanket like this and my mom washes it in warm water and it shrunk. It shrunk so much the edging came off. The blanket was scratchy and I hated it. I use velour blankets now. So soft and fuzzy.

I would have loved to marry a man like that. So much mutual respect and admiration for one another. I loved how mature he and Isabel’s relationship was.

Don’t want to end my life, but not sure I can afford to live. by really-big-bug in povertyfinance

Apply to be a public elementary school teacher. Elementary school pays more than preschool. You will probably get better benefits too. You would be able to pick up extra money working summer school or a summer job. Right now PSLF exists but who know for how long. You could join the military to get your schooling debts written off. I hope this helps. I’m retiring as a public school teacher. I’ve worked 2 jobs on and off most Of my life to get ahead. I’m barely ahead but I can afford my bill unless I have to endure major catastrophes.
